Killiney Kopi
Finally got to taste Killiney Kopitiam kopi + toast :)
Service there was good and friendly, abit crowded but seats are still available with a steady flow of customers, a stark contrast to its neighbouring competitor: Daily Toast. Yes, both kopi shop are side by side; a common sight among many famous eating establishments, where there is always a competitor by your side to keep u on the heels.
Ok, back to the star of the day.
Kopi.
The kopi is thick brown until its stirred to milky brown, served in traditional kopi cup and saucer. The sweetness is just right, but somehow the kopi taste is covered by the condensed milk, so the oomph factor is decreased. Also, the kopi is only warm when served. Maybe next time shd try the kopi-O haha..
Score: 4/5
The bread is toasted just nice, soft yet able to enjoy the toasted aroma. In between the slices are generous amounts of kaya and butter slice, which oozes out from the edge as u sink your teeth in it. Definitely worth a try!
Score:4.5/5
The french toast is normal. Nothing much special about it, so no need to score it haha
Overall, if u have not tried them before, then its worth a try. But maybe not on a hot day, as its a traditional shophouse coffeshop setting. Having said that, its quite well ventilated though :)
Other than kopi, they also sell other items like mee siam, rebus..etc.. and deserts..
Its easy to locate them, just opp singtel comcentre at kiliney rd, 10mins from somerset mrt.
Btw, their take-away cups and carrier have nice designs...

Hmm.. seems like double shot espresso did not have much effect on keeping awake..
Anyway, today is enjoyable despite 2 continuous long....days.
Finally got my 1st merchandise from ION and Pull & Bear. Something new to my wardrobe :)
Have to thank my "consultant" for having sharp eyes to spot on....haha..
and also our luck to bump into the shop before leaving...
Shopping after a long day is fun and relaxing...
Hmm... next stop: Queensway?
Well, got to churn out some work 1st... not much time left for the final lap. This period seem too relaxing rolling in N gear (hehe too much of 海派甜心 and 下一站, 幸福)...
So, i have to calibrate to 4th gear now! Sit tight!

Art of graphing
Graphs are useful in many fields of work. We have seen alot of types.. sine curves, cosine, exponential..etc. But in each family of curves, there are many variations...like different amplitude, period, gradient..etc
Take for example graph A & B below. Both are sine curves, but A has lower amplitude than B, while B has shorter period than A. The only thing in common is the average value of both graph. If u would to choose, which would u prefer? Well, it depends on how we view them.
More than just from the mathematical view, graphs can also represent our life. From this viewpoint, if we take the average value as a benchmark of our life, then both case A & B would deliver equal value. However, A experience a less drastic change compared to B. So, the trauma A experiences is less than B. Having said that, both A & B are not desirable lifestyles curves, as the average value does not change over time.
Ideally, the curve below should represent a near perfect life, as the mean value is constantly increasing. But of course, that's not quite possible in reality as people are bound to face ups and downs, be it a slight bump or a steep nosedive. So, most importantly, we should take control and revert back to the normal path.

Like the saying goes: "经一事,长一智". We get stronger after experiencing it. But, we cant remain at one point, else there is no improvement. We'll have to refuel to continue the journey. This time, refuel with a better grade fuel, upgrade the engine, and ensure the maintainance in the tip-top condition before moving off. Hopefully, my curve would look like this....
Now, its ur turn to chart yours.... :)
Btw.. today is another enriching day :)

Are u disappointed that your escape plans are foiled?
No need to give that worrying look after that. And stop finding silly excuses to distance away. Childish.
Excuse me, in the first place, please wake up yr idea, dont think that i purposely tailed u.
Wat's yr problem if i am going this way or that way, not happy u can just go by other way. Is there a need to test me why am i gg this way?
U shd know the game rules well, since u created this game. U shd know very well how u played it so far. I need not elaborate further.
U know how to play, I am also not 省油的灯.
I dont wish to play the bad character, and i am not one by nature. U shd know it very well. But this time U made me one. Drill this into yr head. Since u started it, then be prepared to face the dire effects.

Next Generation TVs
Nice polo at FOX, but priced cunningly at $33 WITH min 2 pcs purchase (UP $39.90 each). Pull and Bear also not bad. Cotton On materials are quite thin though. But for the moment its just some window shopping haha... G2000 sale extracted quite abit from me :)
Its time to frequent more electronics shop to see the latest gadgets...from a general consumer view and also from a professional view... So, today i realised the elegance of LED TV. As thin as 2.9cm, it boasts more than a TV. Packed with tons of multimedia, same technology but branded differently by competitors, LG + Samsung. Apparently, SS claimed its TV is world's slimmest at 29.9mm, but LG beat it by 0.9mm. Interesting enough, SS has packed its slim gadget with Internet@TV and WLAN for its Series 7 & 8 (~3-5K or more), along with SRS surround sound system. Budget spenders would be looking more at Series 6 (~2.5-4k) w/o those valued features. Sets come in Rose black or Platinum black depending on model, a truly exquisite affair. On the other hand, LG branded its set with it BORDERLESS(TM) Design, Invisible Speakers, Intelligent sensors and bluetooth connectivity. Borderless in the sense that the screen and border are a single layer, unlike current designs where the screen "sits" into the border. Their speakers are well hidden, but are promised to deliver a true surround audio experience. And the sensors detect the ambient lighting, while adjusting the TV backlight for optimal viewing pleasure. Well, haven't had a close look it yet, but certainly it derserves some close scrutiny somedays haha.
Well, for SS its just a different TV technology but same value-added features as per LCD/Plasma sets. Haven't compared for LG yet, but i guess it would be same too. LED TVs would dominate the market in years to come, just as its predecessors LCD/Plasma did before. Its main appeal would be low power consumption, the slim-ness, longer product life (LED lasts longer than CCFL [Cold Cathode Fluoroscent Lamp] used in LCD), and better wide-angle viewing.
One day, do not mistaken the potraits hung on the wall, it might just be a LED TV in disguise :)

Better? Getting better is not easy. Both will be better? One would be more possible. The brutal one. The one who destroyed the happiness and life of other. Cruel isn't it. Yes it is. Its that cruel. Very cruel towards soft people. It can be the worst torture. Maybe it is. Worst than losing your breath. Worst than breaking your legs. Seconds become minutes. Minutes become hours. Hours become months. Months become years. Years become decades... Forget about it? But somethings are not RAM memory. Somehow it flickers back. So "Both will be better" makes no sense... indeed it is.
当你无条件的付出而换来这个结局,真是不甘心
