Killiney Kopi

Finally got to taste Killiney Kopitiam kopi + toast :)
Service there was good and friendly, abit crowded but seats are still available with a steady flow of customers, a stark contrast to its neighbouring competitor: Daily Toast. Yes, both kopi shop are side by side; a common sight among many famous eating establishments, where there is always a competitor by your side to keep u on the heels.

Ok, back to the star of the day.
Kopi. The kopi is thick brown until its stirred to milky brown, served in traditional kopi cup and saucer. The sweetness is just right, but somehow the kopi taste is covered by the condensed milk, so the oomph factor is decreased. Also, the kopi is only warm when served. Maybe next time shd try the kopi-O haha..
Score: 4/5

The bread is toasted just nice, soft yet able to enjoy the toasted aroma. In between the slices are generous amounts of kaya and butter slice, which oozes out from the edge as u sink your teeth in it. Definitely worth a try!
Score:4.5/5

The french toast is normal. Nothing much special about it, so no need to score it haha

Overall, if u have not tried them before, then its worth a try. But maybe not on a hot day, as its a traditional shophouse coffeshop setting. Having said that, its quite well ventilated though :)
Other than kopi, they also sell other items like mee siam, rebus..etc.. and deserts..
Its easy to locate them, just opp singtel comcentre at kiliney rd, 10mins from somerset mrt.

Btw, their take-away cups and carrier have nice designs...
